General guidance only
Steadwell's written guides, videos and Fix Finder recommendations are general do-it-yourself guidance. They are not a professional survey, inspection, structural assessment or medical advice, and they cannot account for the specific condition of your home.
The Fix Finder is a recommendation aid
The Fix Finder suggests kits based on the answers you give. It is a simple matching tool, not an automated decision about you, and its suggestions are a starting point — you decide what to buy and how to use it.
Assess suitability yourself
Fixings, adhesives and safety products depend on the surface, wall type, fixing and load involved. Load-bearing capacity and suitability are your responsibility to assess. If you are unsure, or the surface is fragile, damp or load-critical, seek professional advice before proceeding.
What we do not cover
Steadwell products and guides are for non-invasive DIY maintenance. Do not use them for electrical wiring, gas, load-bearing structural or lift/elevator work. Those tasks must be performed by a qualified, and where required certified, professional. We accept no responsibility for work outside our guidance or beyond the intended use of a product.
Not a medical device
Grip, anti-slip and child-safety items are everyday convenience and safety products, not medical devices or mobility aids. We make no medical, fall-prevention, rehabilitation or health claims. If you need a medical or assistive solution, consult an appropriate professional.
